The view about short people in our world, especially in the Africa, is such that is no good. Most persons see short people as invalid and no good in the society, but this view is erroneous. They might be little or short in stature, yet a large number of them in this world have lived and are living amazing lives.

10. Lin Yu-chih (26.6 inches tall, 67.5 cm)

He once held the Guinness record of being the shortest man in the world. Lin Yu-chih now works as an actor in his home country-Taiwan.

It is believed what is preventing from growing tall is osteogenesis imperfecta which prevents normal bodily height and bone growth. He founded Osteogenesis Imperfecta Association.

9. Khagendra Thapa Magar (26 inches tall, 67cm)

Khagendra is no more as he passed away on January 2020. He was born October 4, 1992 meaning he died aged 27.

He was nicknamed the Little Budha. He hailed from Nepal and once held the record as the shortest teenager in the world.

The 54 year old South African is no more as well as it is believed she passed away in 2018. She also suffered from osteogenesis imperfecta which forced her into using a wheelchair. That was the same fate as her mother who was just 70cm tall. She passed away in 2001.

Jyoti is seen as the shortest woman alive in the world. With a height of just 62.8 cm, the world’s shortest woman who is a cook, an actress and an entrepreneur hopes for the best.

She was born on December 16, 1993, and she has already gotten featured in several documentaries. She suffers from a genetic disorder called achondroplasia which is something hampering her growth. She is Indian.

5. Lucia Zarate (24 inches tall, 61cm)

Born on January 2, 1864, Lucia Zarate is believed to be the first person in history to be identified to have suffered from the rare Majewski osteoplastic primordial dwarfism type II which leads to brain and skeletal abnormalities.

At the age of 17, she entered into the Guinness world records as the “lightest recorded adult” weighing just 4.7 pounds. She died aged 36 in 1890.

Even though Pauline Musters is no more, she is seen as the shortest woman ever recorded by the Guinness Record. The Dutch woman was born on February 26, 1976, and passed away at just aged 19 on March 1, 1895.

Born on June 12, 1993, Junrey passed away on July 28, 2020. It is believed he stopped growing at age 1, therefore, making him one of the shortest personalities ever to live.

2. Gul Mohammed (22.4 inches tall, 57cm)

Gul died in 1997 aged 40. He was as well regarded as one of the shortest individuals in the world. He was from India.

He was born on February 15 1957 and died on October 1 1997 of respiratory complications after a long struggle with asthma and bronchitis. When examined by Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, he stood at 57cm and weighed only 17kg.

Born in Nepal, Chandra Bahadur is considered the shortest ever person ever to live on planet earth. He was born on November 30, 1939 and died on September 3, 2015 aged 75.
