We are made to believe behind every successful man, there is a woman and this is where our post will be having a look at. We intend to have a look at successful men in the world and the women behind them their successes and fame.
There is this assumption that the only way a woman can make you a millionaire is when you are a billionaire.
Women off late are known of been extravagant hence your billions can come down to millions in no time when the right woman isn’t in your life.
But that of course isn’t always the case. We are therefore going to have a look at these women who are noted to behind the successes and fame of these great men.
1. Elon Musk and Maye Musk
If you want to know the woman behind the most successful and richest man in the world with a fortune of close to $160 billion, then you will certainly be referring Maye Musk.
Maye Musk is the mother of Elon Musk and it appears Elon didn’t have an upbringing which was really smooth. At age 31, Maye was already a single mother of 3 and she really had to stand strong.
Maye says that she taught her children “to be independent, kind, honest, considerate and polite, and to work hard and do good things.”
She didn’t check their homework because it was their responsibility. She never told them what to study: “People often ask me how I have raised such successful kids. I did it by letting them follow their interests.”
2. Steve Jobs and Laurene Powell Jobs
Who do you think inherited all the fortunes of Steve Jobs and why did Steve live all his fortunes for her? And it is simple, it’s because Laurene is an amazing woman and really stood behind him.
It is believed she and Steve met in 1989 and from there the rest they say is history. Steve Jobs opening up how they met, he was like; “I was in the parking lot, with the key in the car, and I thought to myself, if this was my last night on earth, would I rather spend it at a business meeting or with this woman? I ran across the parking lot, asked her if she’d have dinner with me. She said yes, we walked into town and we’ve been together ever since.”
Steve died in 2011 but still his legacy lives on with Apple products dominating all over the world.
3. Mark Zuckerberg and Karen Kempner
It appears the woman who gave up her job to focus solely on the children and at the end; yielded the needed results with Mark Zuckerberg been one of the most successful individuals in the world and not not just that one of the richest in the world as well.
Edward Zuckerberg, Mark’s father, shared in an interview: “My wife was a superwoman. She managed to work and be home.”
Mark confessed that his mom raised him and gave him the tools to succeed: “I want to let the world know that I am proud of my mom no matter what. I want to shout it from the rooftops.”
4. Christiano Ronaldo and Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro
The world wouldn’t of course have known much of Cristiano Ronaldo if not for the support of her able who stood behind him when his father died.
Cristiano Ronaldo is now one of the world’s richest footballers with several millions to his name. He recently became the most followed person on Instagram with more than 300 million followers.
And he is on quest to becoming the European footballer with the highest number of goals aside been already the highest goal scorer in Real Madrid.
And all of these have become feasible because of one Maria who stood behind him all these while.
5. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver
The man who is believed to have made more than $100 million for speaking less than 25 words in a movie is what we intend to shift our focus on with regards to some successful men in the world and the women behind them.
And it appears the woman behind his success is that of Maria Shriver. Arnold and Maria have been married for more than two decades; exactly 25 years and the actor believes she is the love of his life.
In an interview with regards to how he is able to maintain his relationship with his wife for such a long time, he simply said; ‘Don’t make mistakes’.
6. Keanu Reeves and Patricia Taylor
Another mother and son situation that can’t be taken off the list is the man who doesn’t seem to joke with his dog. Look at what he did to his dog killers and then you could imagine what he will do if anyone messes with his mother.
Keanu have a special bond with his mother and he believes what his mother said to him is what has made him what he is today.
“I said to her when I was 15 ’Is it OK if I’m an actor?’ She said ’Do whatever you want to do, darling.’ And so it began.”
And so there you have it, the great actor was born. He mostly goes on the red carpet with her.
7. Robert and Susan Downey
Bob attributes his lifestyle change all to his wife and that is something he is proud of as well. This is what he said in an interview; “I guess the only way to explain it is that I’ve become more like her. I’m still trying to figure out what happened.”
8. Leonardo DiCaprio and Irmelin Indenbirken
The man known as Jack across the world due to the famous titanic he featured in didn’t have it all rosy when growing up.
Irmelin was a single mother who emigrated to the US. In an interview, DiCaprio said; “My mother is a walking miracle, I didn’t grow up in a life of privilege. I grew up in a very rough neighborhood in East Los Angeles. This woman drove me 3 hours a day to a different school to show me a different opportunity.”
9. Jeff Bezos and Jacklyn Bezos
The mother of one of the richest men in the world is certainly a proud one indeed.
Jeff didn’t get it all rosy as he was a product of teenage pregnancy. “My mom, Jackie, had me when she was a 17-year-old high school student in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Being pregnant in high school was not popular in Albuquerque in 1964. It was difficult for her.”
